“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."
Ray is a credited Driver Instructor trainer. He is passionate and a highly recommended professional who helps you every step of the way.  A good trainer understands the individual needs of every  person, helping you to develop by turning weaknesses into strengths and achieving the goals you set.

With my Standards Check looming, I was finding it difficult to do the CPD I new I required to gain a good score / grade, due to family commitments. I decided to invest in some 'me time' during the course of my normal working day and seek out some help and guidance from Ray. I had 3 x 2hr sessions and in my case, this gave me the confidence I needed to go and achieve the marks required for a 'Grade A' outcome.
Thank you Ray, my aim was to just get through it at my first attempt but it was you that said that I was more capable and therefore should therefore "aim for the sky". I scored 46 of 51, its not quite the sky yet but I'm certainly standing tall!

Darren Brinkworth ADI (Grade A)

Ray does not teach you to pass tests or assessments. He teaches how to be  great instructor delivering quality instruction to a high standard. The consequence of that is you pass your assessments.
Continued Professional Development
To maintain high standards Ray undertakes a program of continual professional development training (CPD) on-going throughout any given year. I keep records of this and will be happy to discuss what additional training I have undertaken with you. Ask your trainer when they last went on a CPD course? Ray is Grade A Instructor Trainer and a Grade A Driving Instructor trainer and is among a small group achieving the highest award of 51 out of 51 in recent assessments.  Watch Ray's video.

Thank you so much Ray, and sorry to bother you tonight. But may I just say one more thing before I leave you alone....

I could of picked anyone that day, off Facebook when I was feeling low about my driving and I came across your face and your name. I'm a believer in things happen for a reason, you have been priceless to me more then you know. Thank you for your time and your teaching, look forward to seeing you soon.

I highly recommend Ray. After only one conversation he helped to to understand my Part 3 assessment and how I needed to help my pupil.  I really appreciate how Ray was happy to give me his time to help. Thank you

Get to know me

Graham Hooper Managing Director of the Tri-Coaching Partnership interviewed me recently to find out more about me, my background and my philosophy on life and training.

I had watched a number of Ray’s coaching videos online which I had really got a lot from and had enjoyed watching. I decided to contact Ray for some additional one to one coaching with my 5th attempt at my Part 3 approaching.

We spent several hours together discussing and working out the areas I could improve and work on. Following this training I really felt inspired and motivated to try to deliver great client centred lessons not just on the Part 3 but for all my lessons.

Ray’s knowledge of the subject and of coaching techniques is fabulous and he gave me many new ideas to think about and implement. Now I have qualified as an ADI I fully intend to continue to work with Ray on further CPD. Thanks

I met with Ray for the first time to do some standard check training. It really opened my mind up even further to what I was already doing and so much more. Thank you so much for your help you are a very knowledgeable person not to mention a very nice gent. I hope you can continue to be my trainer as I want to be better and improve on a daily basis. Thank you so much again for you expertise .

Anyone can teach someone to drive. Whether they teach them well or badly is another matter. But it's your attitude towards not just the practical skills, but also the psychology as well that really makes a difference.
